Taking advantage of this one

Thanks Cindy Cook for this awesome snag...

I am starting to get in the toy finding mode because Rett is starting to get curious and wanting to hold things and play!  Such a fun time :)  I love it...

So, I have been on the lookout for ABC's and numbers for the fridge and Cindy Cook came across this snag amazon.com

You can get the numbers for just $1.90 and the letters for $2.98

I'm so excited about this deal.

But I'm more excited because I get them for free.  I use Swagbucks  It is an online search engine but you gain swagbuck when you search.  So, the more you use it, the more swagbucks you can earn.  I got it mainly because I got a kindle a few years ago and I'm a cheap skate and didn't want to buy books online all the time and since the Kindle is linked with amazon, I thought swagbucks would be a good idea.

So, here's how it works...once you gain enough swagbucks, you can purchase things.  I have only ever gotten amazon gift cards and I normally get books with the giftcard but I have gotten a Otterbox case for my Iphone.  Last week, I just got a regular case for my phone ~ time for a change, I guess.

But this week, with my swagbucks amazon giftcard, I will be purchasing these letters and numbers for Rett and his cousins Evie and Lydia!  I'm so excited because this is a great deal and I won't be spending a dime...just by searching the internet.

Thanks ~ Cindy Covey ~ you are always finding the great deals :)

some praises....

I've started this blog for days now and keep running around in circles of how or what I want to say. Bottom line... God is GOOD.  That's what I keep going back too.  Let's praise Him for a minute.... We have had a great news from our cousins that are battling horrible diseases!  There is still much fight to be had but God is good. We got great news from a friend this morning....their adoption is a GO!  God is good! We have seen God work in our kids lives and our church family in huge ways the past few weeks!  God is good! It's so easy to be in a slump especially with this gloomy weather that we have had.  But God still works.  He works in the small things and even the big things!!!   After the beauty of last week's snow, I found myself loving the parts that were untouched.  I loved looking at everyone's pictures and the beauty of it.  But then...it would get messed up.  People would walk on it, drive throu...

Update...Birthdays, MaryKay and thrift finds

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday!  It was a great day.  My grandmother came for a visit.  She brought beautiful flowers and some other nice gifts.  Kraig also got me wonderful flowers and box of Gobstoppers.  :)  He still knows the way to my heart ~ a box of Gobstoppers.  He also has set me up with a massage later.  :)  I am real excited about that.  And dinner this weekend, I think.  I don't know but I know he spoils me :)  I love him.  I'm so thankful for all the phone calls and messages yesterday.  It was a truly great day....thanks and this has been the best blessing/birthday gift ever :) Here's my little guy just relaxing.  Rett getting to meet his new buddy, Truett.  Kelly and Julie welcomed their little bundle of joy last Friday evening.  They are going to be close buds, we can tell already.  :) I can't wait to get my hands on this little guy and snuggle him. ...

goodness...will it ever stop?!

Without further adieu.... Kraig and I have been called to a little church out in the valley to serve as youth pastor (and wifey). What a drastic change this will be!?! But a blessing that I never saw coming :) Kraig has been struggling off and on for about a year now about youth ministry and his (our) role with youth. He knew he loved teaching at OCA and we both loved serving the youth at Oakwood. Kraig just wasn't sure if there was more to his struggle than just teaching and just serving at the capacity that we were in. So, with lots of prayer and searching the scripture, Kraig knew that we were supposed to do something more. Well, that was that. We didn't pursue anything, we had a lot going on at our church and we were just getting into the swing of things and really enjoying our youth. About January...I guess... L O N G S T O R Y short ....Kraig got a call from a pastor that I have known probably as long as I have been in the Chickamauga area...and Kraig met thr...
